  Sierraville hot springs is 60 miles from Reno and is well worth a visit! It overlooks the largest alpine valley in North America. Woodys Feather River hot spring is located in Twain, CA which is about 90 miles from Reno. It is a single tub that overlooks a beautiful river.

  Sierraville seems like a sure bet , also Walley's in Genoa , Steamboat in Reno and Carson Hotsprings in Carson City.
  If you want to head out to the boonies ( 100 plus miles) Surprise valley out of Cedarville , Ca. is excellent!
  If you are looking for undeveloped springs , there are many in Northern Nevada and Northern Cal , but not much within a hundred miles.
  Dozens in the Mammoth Lakes area and a couple out of Austin , Nevada
