Beyond the Book

Hi All,
I got a hotsprings book, yay! But I want the hush hush hotsprings that only locals know about. There was one in Lake County, CA I frequented made seasonally with sandbags on the side of a rock face in a river... Ummm! Had to drive WAAAAAaaaay out then hike. My kind of place. So I hear it is now closed off and never developed, new owners who don't use it but are scared of liability. Geez.
I'm in the Pacific Northwest and subscribe to "leave-no-trace"... If anyone is willing to share with me the location of their favorite spots that aren't in the book-- meeting this description, ideally one that must be back packed to... sigh... I'd be eternally grateful and thrilled!
Thank you, Amber
ps. please message me as I don't check the postings often...
