I went there a few years back. It's basically a fumarole, a plume of hot steam hissing out of a small pit. There was a tiny puddle a ways off where the water had cooled enuf to sit in, but it's not really a useable hot spring by any stretch of the imagination. There's also a spot called cold boiling lake on the hike in which has interesting thermal features but is also not useable for soaking. Previous to my visit a group of students had gone there and one slipped or fell into the lake and was severely burned and evacuated to a hospital.
