      <description>I found the Hobbit trail and beach by chance of fate,,,,thanks for the other leads and info. Have to stay content with the hotel tub but that sure isnt anything to complain about.&#xD;

      <description>Peacock is right...there isn't a single hot springs to be found in this part of the state.  The Coast Range is made up of sedimentary rock that was uplifted, so the right geologic characteristics just aren't there for hot springs on the Oregon Coast.&#xD;
&#xD;
Honeyman State Park is worth a visit too.  The sand dunes there are massive and go on for miles and miles.</description>

      <description>unfortunately I dont think there are any springs close. They are all on the east side of  I-5.  However there are a lot of great hiking trails . North , the hobbit trails are a nice short hike into the coastal foothills, and cape perpetua and cummins ridge both offer good hikes and big trees and views. South there are some great hikes around the lakes and renting a kayak or conoe and floating for an afternoon is great.  Good luck.</description>

      <description>Anyone know of any springs around Florence,,,,I am down here for a month working and wouldnt mind a soak away from the hotel hot tub,,,,or any other info on the area.&#xD;
