Hello hotspring lovers!
I am on a journey from Oregon to Southern Utah via southern Idaho. I have very outdated hotspring books and am looking for any recommendations along the way. Current info on Fifth water, Mystic or Meadow in Utah?
Thanks.

Re: Trip thru Southern Idaho and Utah
Tue, April 15, 2008 - 10:59 AMLast time I was at Fifth water was about 2 years ago and it was fantastic. One of my favorite hot springs of all time. I have heard that parking is difficult from the lower entrance, but I always used the upper access and it has a parking lot, and from what I hear that parking lot is still fine to park in. Have fun!!!

Mon, April 28, 2008 - 11:01 AMFifth water is still fantastic! The winter gates on the road have been opened. The bottom parking lot is finished and in full use. There are lots of people on Saturdays.
Mystic is still doing well. They have a website: mystichotsprings.com/ And the owner is on tribe.net
I went to Meadow last week. I was there on a Sunday and it was crowded. It's still fairly trash free and well kept. There's a sign banning nudity. I hear its often occupied with families and noisy kids. There were lots of noisy, obnoxious kids when I was there.
Crystal (north of Brigham City) is very nice and worth a visit. It is commercial: www.crystalhotsprings.net/
I heard Ogden canyon springs are trashed, as well as Inlet in Lehi.

Re: Trip thru Southern Idaho and Utah
Tue, May 13, 2008 - 2:21 PMThanks all. I was able to visit fifth water, it was great. There were still small patches of snow on the ground, and I had the place to myself for the first hour..I will be heading thru southern Nevada soon on I-15. Any suggestions for that area? Anyone been to Gold digger?
