from Berkeley...return Sunday March 30.I( can meet a rider maybe 2 max along the way. small,comfortable rental car. leaving probably late morning.

prepare for light snow there. one way is fine but you'll have to make your own arrangements for the other way. rider compatibility with middle-aged mother and bright, independent-minded teen daughter necessary 100%. share gas costs portion of car rental. call ahead about housing there,it sounds kind of tight this week. bring food for guest kitchen.
